Gas Originator - London

We are partnered on exciting opportunity for a Gas Originator within a large European Utility. This role focuses on Origination and Structuring transactions with corporate, wholesale and industrial clients, collaborating with a global team across the UK & Europe.

Their Trading Team continues to grow and they are looking to bring in an Originator with strong experience within the EU Gas market. You will be responsible for the origination and execution energy trading transactions in Gas and renewable markets, as well as supporting market entry activities in other European geographies.

The Role

• Originate energy trading services agreement with large industrials, consumers, energy retailers and other third-party participants in the EU Gas market;

• Maintain a network of contacts in the industry in the EU and cultivate a pipeline of potential transactions

• Keep updated of market regulations and trends in the market and develop new origination strategies;

• Work closely with colleagues in risk, regulation and legal on new bespoke transactions;
