Reports To: Regional Service Manager / Global Operations Lead

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Field Service Supervisor to lead and coordinate global service activities for solar turbines and compression systems. Based in Germany, this role is responsible for supervising field service operations across international project sites, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting services.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment, excellent communication and coordination skills, and the flexibility to manage complex field operations in diverse global environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise field service teams during installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of solar turbines, centrifugal compressors, and related equipment.

• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for global customers, ensuring satisfaction through clear communication, professional service, and timely issue resolution.

• Oversee adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards and company policies on all job sites.

• Coordinate logistics and planning for international projects including scheduling, mobilization of resources, tools, and spare parts.

• Conduct site inspections, diagnostics, and technical assessments, and provide expert recommendations on system performance and upgrades.

• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and supply chain teams to align field execution with technical and commercial project goals.

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting and documentation, including service reports, timesheets, incident reports, and quality checks.

• Mentor and train junior field engineers and technicians to support continuous improvement and workforce development.

Qualifications:

• Degree or vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in field service roles involving solar turbines, gas turbines, or compressor systems (e.g., centrifugal or axial compressors).

• Proven experience in supervising field teams on complex, multi-country projects.

• Strong knowledge of rotating machinery, control systems, and industrial instrumentation.

• Fluent in English; German language proficiency is a strong advantage.

• Willingness to travel internationally up to 70–80% of the time.

• Valid driver’s license and passport required.

• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication skills.
