Are you a skilled Mechanical or Energy Engineer looking to make a significant impact in energy and sustainability consulting? Join our expanding team and take your career to the next level as an Energy Analyst & Project Manager. In this exciting role, you’ll lead energy modeling projects, conduct in-depth financial and energy analyses, and drive decarbonization and electrification initiatives, all while promoting sustainability within our firm and with clients.

As a key member of our team, you will manage projects from start to finish, supporting green building certifications like LEED and Passive House, performing energy modeling, evaluating renewable energy solutions, and identifying utility rebates and incentives. You’ll also play a vital role in mentoring junior staff, nurturing client relationships, and generating new business opportunities for continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and manage energy modeling for a wide range of projects, including LEED and Passive House certifications, deep energy retrofits, and building decarbonization.

  • Perform energy and cost analysis using advanced software tools (e.g., Trane TraceeQuestWUFI).

  • Conduct field visits to project sites to gather necessary data and insights for energy evaluations (both local and out-of-state).

  • Support renewable energy evaluations, green building certification processes, and sustainability initiatives within the firm.

  • Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering their growth in the energy consulting field.

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

  • Drive new business opportunities by identifying and pursuing growth areas within the energy consulting sector.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in energy modeling and energy analysis.

  • Proficient in building energy modeling software (e.g., Trane TraceeQuestEnergyPlusWUFI).

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical EngineeringArchitectural Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their integration within various building types.

  • Proven experience in project and client management, delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • In-depth knowledge of ASHRAE standardsIECC, and the MA Stretch Energy Code.

  • Exceptional report writing, communication, and time management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • EIT or PE licensure.

  • LEED AP and CPHC certifications are a plus.
