​Senior Transmission Line Engineer - Remote

Vallum Associates are working with a Fortune 500 Engineering Consultancy seeking aSenior Transmission Line Engineerto join the team, focusing on high-voltage (HV) and extra high-voltage (EHV) overhead and underground transmission projects. This role involves designing and analyzing transmission systems, preparing construction documents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze transmission lines using industry standards (NESC, ASCE, ACI).

• Develop project scopes, budgets, and proposals.

• Prepare bidding documents, specifications, and material procurement plans.

• Collaborate with clients, planning, permitting, and construction teams.

• Potential on-site client work or occasional travel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering

  with

  4+ years

  of experience in transmission line design.

• Expertise in

  PLS-CADD, POLE, and foundation design (LPILE/FAD Tools).

• Familiarity with

  NESC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE codes.

• Leadership and supervisory experience required for senior levels.

• Strong communication and project management skills.

Preferred:

• EIT, FE, or PE License.

• Experience with

  GO95, PLS-TOWER, MicroStation, ProjectWise, AutoCAD, Mathcad.
