Company Overview:

Vallum Associates is partnering with a leading developer of energy storage systems. The company holds a 34% market share in NYC’s energy storage market, with a mission to build a more resilient and sustainable grid.

With a growing team of 15, they are entering an exciting phase of fundraising as they advance several BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) projects. Currently, 10 projects are in development, with an additional 20 set to go live by Q1 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and manage contractors and service providers; negotiate contracts and change orders.

• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and compliance with regulations.

• Monitor progress, maintain dashboards, and lead monthly project reviews.

• Coordinate permitting, design, procurement, and construction with team members and partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in project management or logistics.

• 5+ years managing multiple construction projects.

• Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and anticipate challenges.

• Based in NYC with no remote work flexibility.

• Experience with energy infrastructure projects (preferred, not required)

• PMP certification (preferred, not required)

• Expertise in construction cost estimation (preferred, not required)
