About the Role

As an HVDC Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, design, execution, and management of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design and development of HVDC systems.

• Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.

• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources.

• Perform technical analysis and risk assessments.

• Support procurement processes by specifying technical requirements.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

• Prepare detailed reports and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• Proven experience in HVDC project engineering.

• Strong knowledge of HVDC systems, power electronics, and grid integration.

• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.

• Proficient in engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, PSCAD).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to travel as required.
