Senior Onshore Wind Project Developer


As a Senior Onshore Wind Project Developer, you will play a key role in guiding onshore wind energy projects through the approval process, ensuring regulatory compliance and successful project execution.


Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Oversee the approval process for wind energy projects from planning to construction readiness.

  • Identify and assess potential approval risks, proposing mitigation strategies.

  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities and relevant stakeholders.

  • Participate in meetings and discussions with public agencies and partners.

  • Manage communication and coordination between internal and external stakeholders.


Approval Process & Compliance

  • Support the preparation and submission of approval applications.

  • Gather and review all required expert reports and environmental assessments.

  • Drive the approval process by addressing regulatory requirements and compliance needs.

  • Analyse and respond to feedback from authorities, public institutions, and the public.

  • Develop strategies to prevent delays and streamline the approval timeline.

  • Advise project teams on legal and regulatory matters related to approvals.

  • Support objection handling and legal proceedings in collaboration with the legal department.


Your Profile

  • Degree in

    Environmental Sciences, Spatial Planning, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven track record in

    approval procedures for wind energy projects.

  • Strong knowledge of

    BImSchG

    and other relevant regulatory frameworks, including regional planning.

  • Familiarity with industry software such as

    WindPRO and ArcGIS

    is an advantage.

  • Experience in

    project management and cross-functional coordination.

  • Excellent

    communication and negotiation skills.

  • Organized, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work.

  • Fluent in German and English

    (business level).

  • Possession of a

    Class B driving license.
