Environmental Health & Safety Consultant – Industrial Hygiene Focus

Location: Hybrid, 3-4 days in office (Chadds Ford / Philadelphia, PA) | Up to 20% travel

Vallum Associates are partnered with a leading consulting and engineering firm who is hiring an experienced EHS professional to join their team in Pennsylvania. This role focuses on industrial hygiene, environmental sampling, and workplace hazard assessments across commercial, transportation, and institutional projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct air, water, and soil sampling

• Perform audits related to industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, asbestos, lead, and noise

• Prepare technical reports and environmental documentation

• Coordinate with regulatory agencies for permitting and compliance

• Support project needs across the U.S. in health, safety, and environmental areas

Qualifications:

• 15–20 years of relevant experience in EHS and industrial hygiene

• Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field

• CIH or CSP certification (or ability to obtain)

• Familiarity with asbestos, lead-based paint, mold surveys, and abatement

• Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail
