Staff Backend Developer to take the lead on designing, scaling, and optimizing our backend infrastructure. This is a rare opportunity to work on high-impact, data-intensive systems powering protection for millions of endpoints all while shaping the future of a venture-backed cybersecurity platform.

What You'll Do

• Architect and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems in Go

• Process and manage terabytes of structured and unstructured security data, optimizing for speed, integrity, and resilience

• Collaborate closely with Product, Security, and Frontend Engineering to deliver features end to end

• Drive architectural decisions, infrastructure improvements, and backend roadmap for new and existing products

• Act as a technical leader and mentor to other engineers, fostering growth and code excellence across the team
  

Requirements

• 6 years of backend development experience with deep, recent expertise in Go (Golang)

• Proven track record of building distributed systems that process large-scale security telemetry or endpoint data (10M+ endpoints)

• Strong grasp of security engineering, with experience developing products like EDR, email protection, or intrusion detection systems

• Experience with large-scale data storage and search technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, or custom time-series solutions

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code
