Regulation Change Specialist - Leading Utilities Company
An exciting opportunity for a Regulation Change Specialist is available at a leading Utilities Company. As the regulation change specialist, you will drive and manage regulatory changes to ensure alignment with industry standards.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Hybrid remote: West Midlands (onsite a 6-8 times a month)
Key Responsibilities
Lead Industry and Customer Engagement: Drive collaboration with industry stakeholders and customers on regulatory changes. Facilitate impact assessments and oversee change delivery to ensure compliance with industry standards. Provide guidance to customers in identifying and evaluating potential regulatory changes.
Build Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate strong working relationships with service providers to ensure regulatory changes are effectively implemented, creating value for both customers and the industry.
Customer Insight and Impact Assessment: Offer clear insights to help customers understand how regulatory changes may affect their operations and support them through transitions.
Representation and Liaison: Represent at industry forums, providing leadership and support for customers and stakeholders navigating regulatory changes. Serve as a bridge to delivery teams, influencing regulatory development as needed.
Regulatory Change Coordination: Organize and deliver all information and documentation required for regulatory changes, adhering to timelines and meeting compliance standards.
Skills & Experience
Customer-Focused Change Management: Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles with a focus on regulatory or organizational change management.
Industry Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks within the gas industry to support effective regulatory change management.
Effective Communication and Relationship-Building: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with an ability to build productive relationships across teams and stakeholders.
Collaborative Approach: Skilled in working cooperatively with customers and service providers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Proactive and Self-Motivated: Self-starter with a proactive mindset, able to work independently and take initiative to meet role requirements.
Analytical and Simplification Skills: Able to analyze complex situations, break down information, and communicate it clearly to varied audiences.
Problem-Solving and Detail-Oriented: A creative problem solver with meticulous attention to detail.
Documentation and Communication of Requirements: Experienced in capturing requirements and clearly conveying them to industry participants and delivery teams.
