Vallum Associates are partnering with a developer of energy storage systems in New York who is seeking a Lead Engineer to join their team in NYC. 

Essential Criteria:

To work in collaboration with other engineering trades (Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing &Structural), the Lead Engineer will take the lead on their portfolio of BESS under development and at site design stage in NYC.

The Lead will review designs from Consultants to ensure projects are delivered /executed on site. This role will not be doing the designs. 

Work with the origination, execution, and operations teams to create innovative system solutions. There is a strong sense that this individual will “wear many hats” and need to have an understanding of principles across other engineering disciplines such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical etc.

• Must be degree educated in Civil Engineering.

• 10 years experience minimum

• PE certified

• Project experience can be in renewable photovoltaic energy systems, industrial facilities, utility power plants, battery energy storage systems, water, wastewater, or wider infrastructure design.
