Head of Development 

Location: Berlin 

Salary: DOE + % Bonus + Success based bonus

Responsibilties 

- Finding new greenfield energy generation project prospects, concentrating on battery energy storage

- Locating and managing land agents and land consultants, contacting landowners, negotiating and completing property purchases, and overseeing project development in all its facets with diverse local stakeholders

- All project participants, including consultants, experts, municipal authorities, network firms, suppliers, and others, must coordinate.

- Work together with technical, environmental, and spatial planners to supervise all permit applications.

- Overseeing the approval procedure with the appropriate authorities

- Overseeing the submission of bids for either private or public tenders

- Oversee pre-construction activities such as risk assessments, technical and commercial annexes, tender preparation, and support for EPC negotiations.

Requirements

- Minimum 4 years experience within project development across renewable projects (Solar/BESS/Onshore Wind)

- Experienced bringing projects from Initiation through to RtB

- Ability to collaborate across key stakeholders to oversee all permitting activities

- Experienced managing a team specialised in project development
