Role Overview:
The Director will be responsible for leading and managing the team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality talent solutions to our clients. This senior leadership position requires a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge, strong management experience, and a proven track record of building and scaling recruitment teams.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for recruitment, a strong business acumen, and the ability to foster relationships with clients, candidates, and internal teams to achieve organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
Lead and mentor a high-performing recruitment team, setting clear goals and objectives to drive team success.
Develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with company objectives and industry trends.
Ensure continuous improvement in recruitment processes, from talent sourcing and candidate assessment to offer negotiation and onboarding.
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as a senior point of contact for key clients, ensuring their recruitment needs are met with exceptional service.
Work closely with clients to understand their talent requirements, providing strategic recommendations and solutions.
Manage client expectations, providing updates on recruitment progress and addressing any issues or concerns.
Talent Development & Retention:
Recruit, train, and retain top talent within the team.
Foster a positive and high-energy work environment that encourages team collaboration and development.
Implement strategies for employee engagement, professional development, and retention.
Business Development & Growth:
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development efforts to expand the client base.
Develop and execute recruitment marketing strategies to attract top candidates and promote the company’s brand.
Stay ahead of market trends, ensuring the company is competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience (8+ years) in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong experience in building and scaling recruitment teams within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience working with senior stakeholders and managing client relationships at an executive level.
Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Deep understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate management.
Strong business acumen with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
Proficiency in recruitment technologies, CRMs, MS Office O365 and data analysis tools.
Education:
Degree or equivalent.
Professional certifications in recruitment are a plus.
