Tom has global experience in the recruitment market having worked across the UK, Middle East and the United States.
For the past 15 years, Tom has specialised in identifying the very best candidates within the Energy, Engineering & Professional Services
sectors. He has a comprehensive knowledge of the market stemming from his experiences across the board, having Co-Founded an award-winning Middle East recruitment
consultancy before operating as US Director for a Renewable Energy recruitment agency.
Tom joins Vallum Associates as Country Director of our US Division, overseeing our five industry verticals in North America.

In the past, Suling has worked with some important
non-profit organisations, however, she is now following her interest in
Sustainability and has joined Vallum to sit with the Renewables and Engineering
team.
“I am trilingual and can speak Khmer (Cambodia), Mandarin Chinese and English. I am a huge foodie and enjoy learning about different cultures through food, and exploring new cafes and bars!”.

With a background in education, Marc worked with a
non-profit teaching math to children in need. Marc is invested in helping
people and the planet and joins Vallum Associates team to sit with the
Renewables team.
“I have run two marathons (& counting) including the Boston Marathon and one in Brazil and between them, have raised over $10k for Boston’s Children Charity. I am hoping to eventually achieved my 6-star medal. I can also solve a Rubik’s cube in under a minute”.

With a degree in Finance with a focus on Financial Analysis, Louis has joined Vallum to sit with the Delivery Team specialising in Capital Markets.
“I have lived in Massachusetts my whole life; I grew up fishing off the coast of Cape Cod and am a huge New England Patriots fan. On the weekends you can usually find me on the golf course”.

Before entering the world of recruitment in Boston Edgar lived in California and worked as a Wine Educator in Napa Valley! So if you’re looking for a new role or wine recommendations Edgar is your man!
“I’m a classically trained flute player. I’m a collector of sneakers (and have over 100 pairs) and vinyl records of which I have 60.”

With a background in elementary education, Jessica now sits with the delivery team in the Boston office.
“I’m originally from Los Angeles, California and have two Golden Retriever pups there named Merlin and Indy (Indiana Jones). Moving to Boston has been a bit of a cold shock for this Cali girl, but I’m loving the layered fashion and getting to bundle up for real seasons! I love to travel and am eager to explore all New England has to offer. The bookstores and coffee shops are calling my name.”

After working for years as a news producer and broadcast journalist, Leila decided to throw a little plot twist and dive into the recruitment world. With a passion for sustainability and how quickly our world is changing Leila has decided to join the Renewables team at Vallum.
“Originally from Nashville Tennessee, I have made the move to Boston, MA to make the most of the snow and local skiing in the winter months. I want 2023, to be a year of travel and plan to go to Thailand or New Zealand this year!”
