​Job Summary

We are seeking a Solar O&M Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar PV systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical experience and strong knowledge of rooftop and commercial solar systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on C&I rooftop solar PV systems.

• Troubleshoot central and string inverters, including identifying and resolving system faults.

• Inspect and maintain DC/AC wiring, combiner boxes, disconnects, panels, and other electrical equipment.

• Diagnose issues affecting system performance and energy production.

• Perform electrical testing using multimeters, megohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.

• Read and interpret single-line diagrams, electrical drawings, and equipment manuals.

• Support commissioning, system startups, and equipment replacements as needed.

• Document maintenance activities, troubleshooting findings, and completed repairs.

• Coordinate with customers, site personnel, contractors, and O&M management.

• Follow NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and site-specific safety requirements.

• Travel to commercial solar sites as required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in C&I Solar O&M, solar installation, or electrical maintenance.

• Hands-on experience with commercial rooftop PV systems and inverters.

• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

• Experience with DC and AC electrical systems.

• Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.

• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

• OSHA 30 and/or NFPA 70E certification preferred.

• Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and on commercial rooftops.

• Willingness to travel between C&I solar sites.
