Summary

We are seeking a Solar Quality & Performance Inspector to support the review, inspection, and performance evaluation of utility-scale and commercial solar PV systems.

This role requires travel throughout the East Coast (up to 25%) to support site inspections, commissioning activities, and troubleshooting efforts.

Responsibilities

• Review solar PV system designs, drawings, and engineering documentation.

• Conduct site inspections and audits of operating solar and energy storage facilities.

• Evaluate the electrical, structural, and installation quality of PV systems.

• Analyze operational and performance data to identify and troubleshoot issues.

• Review commissioning reports, test results, and system performance metrics.

• Perform thermal imaging, insulation resistance testing, and field inspections.

• Support engineering and inspection partners throughout project execution.

Requirements

• Experience in solar design, construction, quality assurance, O&M, or inspections.

• Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, low-voltage, and medium-voltage drawings.

• Familiarity with central and string inverters, SCADA/DAS, and communication systems.

• Clean driving record and willingness to travel throughout the East Coast.
