​Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Python/React Developer to join our existing team and support ongoing initiatives focused on building and enhancing an AI platform used for internal communication and collaboration between agents within the client. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions while adhering to the client's development standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain AI-driven applications and services using Python, FastAPI, and React

2. Build and enhance backend APIs, microservices, and integrations to support internal AI platform initiatives

3. Develop and optimize data access layers, messaging systems, and database solutions using SQLAlchemy, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and RabbitMQ

4. Contribute to AI agent development, including integrations with LLMs, RAG architectures, MCP/A2A frameworks, and AI orchestration platforms

5. Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to implement containerized deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native solutions

6. Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide technical recommendations, and actively contribute ideas to improve platform capabilities and development practices

Required Qualifications

1. Strong hands-on experience with Python development, including FastAPI, API design, and backend service development

2. Solid experience with React, JavaScript, CSS, and modern UI development practices

3. Proven expertise in database development using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and related data access technologies

4. Experience with messaging and queue-based architectures using RabbitMQ or similar technologies

5. Good understanding of security concepts and authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and Microsoft Entra ID

6. Experience implementing automated testing using Pytest and applying software engineering best practices to ensure high-quality code delivery

Nice-to-Have Skills

1. Experience with AI and Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG architectures, MCP, A2A, LangChain, LangGraph, and Copilot solutions

2. Knowledge of Microservices Architecture and distributed systems design

3. Experience with containerization and cloud-native technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

4. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools including Azure DevOps and Argo CD

5. Experience with NX and Micro-Frontend architecture patterns

6. Understanding of AI platform governance, observability, and operational best practices

Language Requirements

• Good working proficiency in Dutch and/or French
