Job description
Vallum Associates is partnering with a leading international data centre developer to identify a Project Manager to support the delivery of mission-critical infrastructure projects across a growing global portfolio.
This position will oversee projects from planning and design through construction and handover, ensuring delivery against programme, budget, quality, and operational objectives. The successful candidate will act as a key link between internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Support site development activities including planning, permitting, and stakeholder coordination.
Manage consultant and contractor procurement processes, including scope development and tender reviews.
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and reporting.
Lead design teams through design development and construction documentation phases.
Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, utility providers, and operational teams.
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and drive successful project delivery.
Oversee refurbishment, expansion, and operational improvement projects within live facilities.
Prepare project updates, meeting records, and executive reports.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Real Estate Development, or a related discipline.
5+ years' experience in project, construction, or development management.
Experience delivering data centre, mission-critical, industrial, or complex commercial projects.
Strong commercial, budgeting, and project controls experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Experience
Knowledge of data centre infrastructure and critical systems.
Experience delivering projects within operational facilities.
Background managing contractor and vendor performance.
Strong client-facing and cross-functional leadership experience.
