The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to take ownership of the electrical delivery on large-scale Data Centre and mission-critical construction projects.

The successful candidate will oversee the electrical scope from design coordination and procurement through installation, testing, commissioning and final handover, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams, taking responsibility for resolving technical challenges and ensuring the successful delivery of critical electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full electrical package from design through construction, commissioning and handover.

• Coordinate electrical design activities, technical submissions and design changes.

• Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.

• Oversee electrical installation, testing and commissioning activities.

• Monitor programme and progress to ensure key project milestones are achieved.

• Ensure all electrical works comply with project specifications, quality requirements and relevant regulations.

• Conduct site inspections and identify and resolve technical or quality issues.

• Review and approve electrical designs, drawings and technical documentation.

• Manage project documentation and ensure accurate records are maintained throughout delivery.

• Identify non-conforming works or materials and coordinate corrective actions.

• Work closely with construction, MEP, QA/QC, planning and commissioning teams.

• Maintain high standards of health and safety and intervene where unsafe practices are identified.

• Support system completion, final testing, commissioning, snagging and successful client handover.

Experience & Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Approximately 5–7+ years' experience within electrical project, package or construction management.

• Previous experience on Data Centre, Mission Critical or large-scale technically complex construction projects is highly desirable.

• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting and control systems.

• Good understanding of electrical codes, regulations and safety standards.

• Experience managing subcontractors and electrical packages through the full construction lifecycle.

• Strong understanding of testing, commissioning and handover processes.

• Experience with project management, electrical design and/or modelling software.

• Experience using BIM and construction management platforms would be advantageous.

• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary construction environment.

• Fluent English required.
