​Job Role: Project Director

Location: Netherlands - Local to Amsterdam

Job Type: Permanent or contract/freelance

I'm currently recruiting for a Project Director to lead a major hyperscale data centre project in the Netherlands for a market-leading main contractor with a strong track record of successfully delivering projects across Europe.

​

This is a senior leadership position requiring a balance of:

✔️ 50% Technical Project Delivery Experience

✔️ 50% Executive Leadership Capability

​

The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for project delivery, stakeholder management, team leadership, and client engagement on a flagship data centre development.

​

The ideal candidate must come from either:

• A main contractor background, or

• A client-side/PMC background within data centre delivery

​

Role Requirements:

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in construction management within large-scale, complex projects

• Proven end-to-end data centre delivery experience (mission-critical environments essential)

• Strong background in MEP-heavy environments (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems)

• Demonstrated experience leading and coordinating CSA teams (Civil, Structural, Architectural)
