​Skills & Experience Required:

• 8+ years in senior security consulting/leadership, able to deputise fully for the vCISO.

• Experience leading control uplift, regulatory readiness (NIS/NIS2, PCI DSS, UK CAF) and security architecture reviews.

• Strong grasp of ISO/IEC 27001:2022, NIST CSF and enterprise risk management.

• Security maturity assessment, benchmarking and board/executive communication.

Qualification & Certification Preference:

• Bachelor's/Master's in a relevant discipline.

• Required: CISSP or CISM.

• Recommended: ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CRISC.

Responsibilities:

• Deputise for the vCISO and provide continuity of executive-level security leadership during absence or surge demand.

• Support development of the security strategy, cyber risk register, maturity assessments and board materials.

• Lead advisory workstreams and act as escalation point on strategic risk decisions
