I'm working with a client at the centre of the UK energy industry who is looking to hire a Policy Analyst to support strategic market developments, industry reform and policy initiatives.

This isn't a traditional policy role focused purely on compliance. It's an opportunity to work at the intersection of energy policy, market reform, strategic analysis and stakeholder engagement, helping shape how future industry changes are interpreted and delivered.


We're particularly interested in people who have gained experience within:

  • Energy or utilities consultancies

  • Energy policy or regulatory teams

  • Market bodies

  • Government or advisory environments

  • Organisations operating within the UK energy sector

You'll be involved in:

  • Monitoring emerging market and policy developments across the UK energy sector

  • Analysing consultations, legislation and regulatory change to assess business impact

  • Producing strategic insight papers, briefing notes and executive updates

  • Drafting consultation responses, policy papers and market analysis

  • Engaging with senior stakeholders across industry, government and regulatory bodies

  • Supporting industry workgroups, market reform initiatives and strategic projects

We're looking for people with experience in:

  • Energy policy or regulatory analysis

  • Consultation responses or policy writing

  • Stakeholder engagement across complex environments

  • Strategic analysis and market insight

  • Producing high-quality written reports and recommendations

  • Translating complex technical or regulatory topics into clear, practical advice
