​Role: Platform Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC/Iselin, NJ (3 days a week onsite)

We're looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join a large-scale enterprise Security Hub programme. You'll be responsible for building scalable backend services, APIs, event-driven applications, and microservices that power a modern cloud-native security platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python-based backend applications and microservices

• Build scalable REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django

• Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka

• Build telemetry ingestion and data processing pipelines

• Integrate enterprise platforms including ServiceNow, IAM, and cloud services

• Work with Kubernetes/OpenShift and CI/CD pipelines

• Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, and Engineering teams to deliver secure, resilient solutions

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested production code

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Python Backend Development

• Python (FastAPI / Flask / Django)

• REST APIs & Microservices

• Kafka / Event Streaming

• SQL & NoSQL Databases

• Docker & Kubernetes/OpenShift

• Linux, Git & CI/CD

• API Integrations

• Secure Coding & Authentication/Authorization

Nice to Have

• Experience building Security Platforms, SIEM, SOAR, CNAPP or CSPM solutions

• ServiceNow integration experience

• AI/ML-enabled applications

• Financial Services or highly regulated environments
