Electrical Package Manager – Hyperscale Data Centre

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to join a leading General Contractor delivering one of Europe's largest hyperscale data centre developments. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a major electrical package on a cutting-edge AI-ready campus, working alongside a highly experienced project delivery team.

As the Electrical Package Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, high-quality, and timely delivery of electrical systems from installation through to testing, commissioning, and client handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of designated electrical packages from installation through to commissioning and handover.

• Manage and coordinate Electrical Site Supervisors, subcontractors, and specialist vendors.

• Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, quality, and health & safety requirements.

• Coordinate the installation of critical electrical infrastructure, including:

• LV & MV distribution systems

• Busbar systems

• Lighting and small power

• BMS interfaces

• ELV systems

• Cable containment and cabling

• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve technical and commercial issues.

• Work closely with QA/QC, Commissioning, Planning, and Construction teams to achieve key project milestones.

• Review technical drawings, specifications, method statements, and installation procedures.

• Oversee inspections, testing, snagging, and defect close-out activities.

• Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities, ensuring systems are delivered to client requirements.

• Provide regular reporting on package progress, risks, and resource requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Package Manager, Electrical Project Manager, or Electrical Construction Manager on large-scale construction projects.

• Previous experience delivering mission-critical or hyperscale data centre projects is essential.

• Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical distribution systems, critical power infrastructure, and electrical installations.

• Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.

• Understanding of QA/QC processes, commissioning, FAT/SAT, and project handover.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-value project environment.
