I am excited to be advertising a Global Head of Credit Risk - Power & Gas, within a Global Trading House based in Geneva - Switzerland.

Responsibilities

The Head of Credit Risk is a senior leadership role responsible for leading all aspects of the credit risk function within the companies trading division. This individual will develop, implement, and maintain credit risk policies and procedures to minimise risk exposure while supporting the company's growth and profitability.

Requirements needed:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in credit risk management, with at least 5 years covering Gas, Power & Renewables, including some leadership responsibilities within the commodity trading industry.

• Assess and monitor the creditworthiness of counterparties, including customers, suppliers, and financial institutions.

• Manage complex and high-value transactions, ensuring structured risk assessment and supporting the launch of new trade finance products.

• In-depth knowledge of credit risk principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements specific to commodity trading.
