A fast-growing international company in the clean energy sector is seeking a Financial Controller with strong SAP CO expertise to join its dynamic Commercial Finance team. With operations spanning multiple continents and a clear mission to accelerate the global shift to clean and affordable energy, this role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to both financial excellence and climate-positive innovation.

Key responsibilities of a Financial Controller

• Develop and enhance internal controlling structures in SAP to support management reporting

• Define SAP processes and value flows to align with corporate control logic

• Establish standardized controlling frameworks (e.g. cost center structures, account mappings, P&L logic)

• Contribute to the development of a global SAP blueprint and support rollouts to subsidiaries

• Support annual financial processes such as inventory valuation and standard price calculations

• Act as a point of contact for monthly closing activities and operational controlling issues
  

Key skill as a Financial Controller

• Degree in finance, controlling, or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience in finance/controlling, ideally in a production or industrial setting

• Strong command of SAP FI/CO, especially SAP CO; S/4HANA knowledge is a plus

• Excellent Excel skills and general IT affinity

• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work style

• Strong communication and team skills

• Fluent in German and English
