Finance Manager - Cost Management & Performance - Contract
We are supporting a large UK organisation with the recruitment of an experienced Finance Manager to lead cost performance, financial planning and management insight across a complex operational environment. You'll work closely with senior finance and operational stakeholders to improve financial transparency, strengthen forecasting processes and deliver meaningful analysis that supports business decision-making.

The successful candidate will bring a strong combination of commercial finance, financial control and business partnering skills, with the ability to turn large volumes of data into actionable insight.
Key Areas of Focus:
Leading cost forecasting, budgeting and month-end performance reporting.
Producing insightful analysis and recommendations for senior leadership teams.
Improving reporting processes, controls and financial governance.
Driving consistency and best practice across financial planning and cost management activities.
Partnering with operational and corporate teams to challenge assumptions and improve cost visibility.
Supporting the development of reporting tools, dashboards and financial models.
Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance decision-making through better use of data.
Key Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Strong experience in FP&A, cost management, commercial finance or financial reporting.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex financial information clearly.
Comfortable working with large datasets and translating analysis into business outcomes.
Experience operating within large, matrix organisations.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach with a track record of driving improvement.
Exposure to regulated industries, utilities, infrastructure or similarly complex environments.
Experience with planning and reporting tools such as Anaplan, Power BI, TM1 or equivalent.
Previous involvement in finance transformation, process optimisation or reporting enhancement programmes.
