Electrical Supervisor – Grid Stability Infrastructure Project

Contract Duration:Minimum 12 months

Start Date: August

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm

  • Occasional Saturday work as required

Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Electrical Supervisors to join a major grid stability infrastructure project involving the construction and commissioning of a Synchronous Condenser facility. The successful candidates will oversee and coordinate electrical installation activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate High Voltage (HV) works, including 400kV cable pulling and substation installations

  • Oversee underground and overhead line (OHL) electrical works.

  • Manage Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) cable installation activities.

  • Supervise mechanical and electrical (M&E) building services installations, including:

Air conditioning systems

Fire alarm systems

Lighting systems

Ventilation systems

Associated building services infrastructure

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

  • Coordinate subcontractors and site personnel to maintain programme milestones.

  • Monitor progress and resolve technical and installation issues as they arise.

  • Maintain accurate records and reporting throughout the project life cycle.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in electrical supervision on large-scale infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects.

  • Strong background in HV, MV, and LV electrical installations.

  • Experience with substation construction, cable pulling, and overhead line works.

  • Familiarity with M&E building services installations.

  • Ability to manage multiple work fronts and coordinate with various stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
