Electrical Supervisor – Kouvola, Finland
This client is a rapidly expanding specialist in data center design and mission‑critical construction, delivering high‑performance facilities for global clients with a focus on speed, quality, and cost efficiency. I am seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support our growing operations in Helsinki, Finland.
Role Summary
The Electrical Supervisor will oversee all on‑site electrical activities, ensuring installations are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications. You will coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, uphold quality standards, and support seamless integration with other project disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical installation oversight — Manage daily electrical works, ensuring adherence to design requirements, safety rules, and quality expectations.
Subcontractor coordination — Direct electrical subcontractors, manage work sequencing, and ensure materials and access are available.
Progress monitoring — Track daily progress, report to the Electrical Project Manager, and flag risks or delays.
Quality control — Inspect installation quality, identify defects early, and collaborate with QA/QC teams for resolution.
Cross‑discipline collaboration — Work closely with MEP, CSA, and commissioning teams to support structured handovers.
Safety enforcement — Approve work permits, lead toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline
5+ years of electrical supervision experience on large‑scale construction projects
Strong background in high‑ and low‑voltage systems, switchgear, cable installation, containment, and terminations
Experience in data centers, industrial facilities, or critical infrastructure projects preferred
Solid understanding of electrical systems, cable routing, grounding, and interface coordination
Familiarity with Finnish electrical standards (SFS) is an advantage
Valid Finnish electrical qualifications are a plus
Proficiency in MS Office and digital field tools
Fluency in English; Finnish language skills beneficial
