Electrical Project Manager — Job Description
This role leads the full electrical scope on large‑scale data center and industrial projects, overseeing design, installation, testing, commissioning, safety, quality, and subcontractor performance.
Role Overview
As the Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering all electrical systems on complex, mission‑critical construction projects. You will manage the full lifecycle—from design coordination and procurement through installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover. Your leadership ensures that electrical works are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, direct subcontractors, resolve technical challenges, and safeguard the reliability of essential infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical System Delivery - Oversee design, installation, testing, and commissioning of all electrical systems.
Subcontractor Management - Lead, coordinate, and evaluate electrical subcontractors and suppliers.
Schedule & Quality Control - Ensure adherence to project timelines, specifications, and quality standards.
Safety Compliance- Enforce safety protocols, stop unsafe work, and implement corrective actions.
Technical Issue Resolution - Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and approve design changes.
Documentation & Compliance - Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance.
Commissioning Support - Support final testing, commissioning, and smooth handover of systems.
Qualifications & Skills
Electrical Engineering Degree or related field.
5–7 years of experience in electrical project management, ideally on data center or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards.
Experience with project management tools, electrical design software, and BIM platforms.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
Fluent in English.
