Document Controller – Data Centre Projects (Norway)
Location: Norway (2 projects)
Rotation: 3:1 Rotation
Salary: 900,000 – 1,100,000 NOK + package
Project Type: Hyperscale Data Centre Construction
The Opportunity
A leading international contractor delivering large-scale data centre projects across the Nordics is seeking multiple Document Controllers to support major campus developments in Norway.
Working within a fast-paced project environment, you will be responsible for managing technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all project information is accurately controlled, distributed, tracked and maintained in line with project procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain all project documentation throughout the construction lifecycle.
Control incoming and outgoing technical documentation, drawings, specifications and project records.
Ensure documentation is reviewed, approved and distributed in accordance with project procedures.
Maintain document registers, workflows and revision control logs.
Coordinate with engineering, design, quality, construction and client teams regarding document submissions and approvals.
Monitor document status and ensure project teams are working from current revisions.
Generate reports on document progress, outstanding actions and project compliance.
Support project audits and quality assurance processes.
Assist with handover documentation and project close-out requirements.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Document Controller position.
Previous experience working on construction, engineering, infrastructure or data centre projects.
Strong knowledge of ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) and BIM360.
Experience managing technical project documentation and drawing control processes.
Strong understanding of document control procedures, revision management and transmittal systems.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary international project team.
