Commercial Lead – Data Centre & Mission Critical Projects (Nordics)

Location:Finland, Sweden & Norway

Employment Type:Full-Time

Rotation:Typically 10 Days On / 4 Days Off (Project Dependent)

About the Opportunity

We are supporting a number of leading construction and engineering organisations who are actively seeking Commercial Leads to provide strategic commercial leadership across major projects and programmes throughout the Nordic region.

This role will be responsible for overseeing commercial teams, managing project profitability, driving commercial strategy, and ensuring robust contract and risk management practices across large-scale developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership across project commercial teams.

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximise project performance.

  • Oversee project cost management, forecasting, and financial reporting.

  • Lead procurement, contract negotiation, and subcontractor management activities.

  • Manage commercial risk, claims, and dispute resolution.

  • Ensure governance, compliance, and commercial best practice.

  • Build strong relationships with clients, project teams, and senior stakeholders.

  • Support business growth and future project opportunities.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline.

  • Extensive commercial leadership experience within construction or engineering environments.

  • Proven track record managing commercial delivery on large-scale projects.

  • Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, commercial management, and risk mitigation.

  • Experience leading and developing commercial teams.

  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

  • Previous experience within Data Centres, Infrastructure, Energy, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, or Mission Critical projects is highly desirable.
