​Business Change Manager – Energy Market Transformation (Inside IR35)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Change Manager to support a major energy market transformation programme within a leading energy company.

This role focuses on driving business readiness and adoption of new operating models, processes, and digital capabilities across the electricity and flexibility markets, including demand-side response and distributed energy resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business change and adoption activities across a complex transformation programme

• Develop and deliver change strategies, impact assessments, and stakeholder engagement plans

• Ensure business readiness for new processes, systems, and market frameworks

• Work closely with product, delivery, and BA teams to embed change effectively

• Design and deliver communications, training, and adoption approaches

• Support transition to new operating models and ways of working

• Monitor adoption, benefits realisation, and business outcomes

Experience Required

• Strong experience in business change / transformation roles

• MUST have experience within the UK energy market (e.g. electricity markets, flexibility services, regulatory environments)

• Proven ability to drive adoption in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
