​Senior Business Analyst – Energy Market Transformation (Inside IR35)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support a major energy market transformation programme within a leading energy company. The programme focuses on developing new operating models, governance frameworks, and digital solutions to support evolving electricity and flexibility markets, including areas such as demand-side response and distributed energy resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis across a complex transformation programme

• Define BA approach, plans, and deliverables across multiple initiatives

• Elicit, analyse, and document requirements aligned to business and regulatory needs

• Support design of operating models, governance, and market-facing capabilities

• Work closely with stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams to deliver solutions

• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and industry frameworks

• Provide oversight and quality assurance for BA outputs across the programme

Experience Required

• Strong Business Analysis experience within large transformation programmes

• MUST have experience in the UK energy market (e.g. electricity markets, flexibility services, or regulatory environments)

• Proven ability to work across business and technical teams

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
