Working within a multidisciplinary project team, you will play a key role in coordinating BIM models across all design disciplines, ensuring seamless collaboration between design, engineering, and construction teams.

About the Role

A BIM Coordinator to join a major hyperscale data centre project in Finland.

Responsibilities

Model Coordination & Collaboration

• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models across Architectural, Structural, MEP, and specialist contractor packages.

• Lead model coordination meetings and manage clash detection, issue tracking, and resolution processes.

• Ensure all models align with project design requirements and construction objectives.

• Facilitate collaboration between design consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Standards, Quality & Compliance

• Maintain and enforce BIM Execution Plans, project standards, workflows, and naming conventions.

• Conduct model audits and quality reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Support digital construction initiatives, including DfMA and prefabrication strategies where applicable.
  

Design & Technical Support

• Assist designers and engineers with model setup, optimisation, and coordination activities.

• Manage shared coordinates, templates, worksets, and project file structures.

• Review models for completeness, accuracy, and constructability.
  

Construction & Site Coordination

• Work closely with project management and site delivery teams to ensure design information is accurate and buildable.

• Support BIM integration with scheduling (4D) and quantity extraction (5D) processes.

• Ensure coordinated design information is delivered in line with project milestones.
  

Digital Delivery & Innovation

• Promote best practice BIM workflows and digital project delivery.

• Support the implementation of new technologies, automation tools, and process improvements.

• Contribute to the continuous development of digital construction standards across the project.
  

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

• 3–7 years' experience in BIM Coordination or BIM Management roles.

• Previous experience on large-scale industrial, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, manufacturing, energy, or data centre projects.
  

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, and associated BIM coordination tools.

• Solid understanding of multidisciplinary design coordination processes.

• Experience working within principal contractors, design & build organisations, or major project environments.

• Familiarity with IFC workflows, clash detection processes, and model validation procedures.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
  

Preferred Skills

Experience in large-scale industrial, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, manufacturing, energy, or data centre projects.
