Role- Azure SQL Developer

Contract- 6 months with possible extension

Location- London

Rate- 530 GBP/day (inside IR35)

Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled Azure SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development, optimization, and management within the Azure cloud environment.
• You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure SQL databases to meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Azure SQL Databases to support business applications and data analytics.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
• Ensure data security and compliance by implementing robust encryption and access control measures.
• Perform database performance tuning, indexing, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with development and data teams to integrate databases with Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and other Azure services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with SQL development and Azure SQL Databases.
• Expertise in writing and optimizing T-SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and other Azure ecosystem tools.
• Proficiency in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
