Role Description

Working closely with the Board to help build and drive our New York office.

  • We are looking for a successful Billing Manager with previous experience building a successful Recruitment Team.
  • Initially you will work from our office in London UK helping to build a small team to take to New York.
  • Once you move across to New York you will help with the office set-up and be responsible for local hires to help grow the business.
  • We are open to individuals with the expertise of Recruitment in Banking & Finance, Fintech, Energy & Utilities.

Role Responsibility

  • You will take responsibility for all aspects of office and staff management.
  • Maintain your own billing initially whilst helping to build the team and office.
  • Manage the P&L for the New York Office.
  • Manage and own the recruitment of employees for New York.
  • Help build Vallum New York Office and other satellite offices in the USA to enhance our offering.
  • Represent Vallum Associates to our clients.
  • Take accountability for the performance and profitability of the New York Office.
  • The role involves helping to put the strategy together for the growth and development of the Sales Team.
  • Implementation of strategy and managing the day-to-day activities of the sales team
  • Responsibility for hiring 360 Consultants building on our vertical markets.
  • Putting strong governance and high standards in place.
  • Be a Mentor and Manager to the Sales Team.
  • Conduct quarterly and annual appraisals of the sales team.
  • Manage performance management of the sales team.

Due to growth of the business Vallum Associates is looking for a Lead Consultant to come and help us growth the Banking & Finance business.

As a Senior Consultant you will be responsible for developing and building on your specialised area. Your background should be from recruitment demonstrating a 360 role, developing a client, job generation and candidate sourcing.  We are open to individuals with prior recruitment experience from:

  • Technology (Cloud, Change, Digital. Data)
  • Banking & Finance (Banking, Fintech, Asset Management, Software providers)
  • Insurance (Lloyds Insurance, Reinsurance
  • Government sectors (Security cleared)
  • You will have the opportunity to develop and build a practice leveraging the strong network and connects the company already has.
  • We are looking for a driven, self-motivated individual who is a strong team player looking for their opportunity to be part of building something they can be extremely proud of, working with like minded colleagues who will all share in the success of the company as well as individual rewards.

Qualification / Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ proven experience in recruitment
  • Excellent pipeline management and relationship building ability
  • Experience in Sales / Business Development including cold calling
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight time frames
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Driven to succeed and hit targets
